Finally caught up with episodes last weekend, watched 3, 4, 5 and 6 all in a row. I absolutely loved everything about episode three, so I decided to do something about the castle. I don't know how I haven't done anything about it this far, it's such a nice thing to paint simply due to all the story behind it. I just haven't done indoor or architecture stuff that much in general.
Yeeeaaah.. All I can say is sorry. Even though Christmas holiday is rolling and I finally have some time to chill out and release steams, I still haven't got myself really active. I didn't even get an idea for any holiday picture and such. Should'a thought one out beforehand 'cause I wasn't home a lot during the actual Christmas days. I can't help feeling bad about it.
In any case, merry (late) Christmas everypony! Hope you had a good one.

SlyphStorm - Castle of Shadows
A darkened castle sitting on a hill of the
Everfree leads you in, shady stone statues
lie every coridoor, silent still guards of what
lies within.
Just you and your assistant baby dragon
against all the shadows of Nightmare Moon,
take a deep breath and a shaky step forward,
don't take long, they'll find you soon.
Peer around the corner, slowly tiptoe down
the hall, make sure you know exactly where
your footsteps fall.
Be more than extra careful of the shadows in
your way, take every extra caution so you'll
live another day.
Cry out and just run away, fight another day
and when you get back home safe and they
ask are you OK, nod your head and say:
Today, I went inside the Castle, the Castle,
the Castle of Shadows, in the Castle, the
Castle, the Castle of Shadows, in the Castle,
the Castle, the Castle of Shadows, today
I went inside the dreaded Castle of Shadows.
A stiff competition, don't let the scary shadows
get in your head, cause you got a reputation that
you swore to protect the bravest of them all,
she said.
And while the silly fillies are off being brave,
the tapestries of history are rotting away
in this old dirty castle of centuries ago,
this just won't do, they cannot stay.
Ready your soul for pain and strife as your
worst nightmares come to life when every
single shadow of this broken place is a
haunting spirit with a demon's face.
Ancient organ starts to play, lose all
your hope and start to pray that it's
all just a dream and it can't be real,
face it, you're a Nightmare's meal!
